🧑💼 Organizing committee Portraits > Simon Fagour Simon Fagour is currently a PhD candidate in history at the University of the New Sorbonne and member of Center for Research and Documentation in the Americas (CREDA, UMR 7227). He’s a teaching and researching assistant at the Institute of Higher Studies on Latin America (IHEAL, USN) in Paris. His doctoral research focuses on the plural and shifting representations attached to the Cuban Revolution in French and British metropolitan and overseas societies. It analyzes the reciprocal effects between these representations, the transnational circulation they incite and the diplomatic relations that the Cuban regime wishes to establish with Paris and London in the context of the global Cold War. *** He is in charge of the table 2 "Latin Amercia and the global cold war" and table 4 "Culture, imagination and international relations". *** |
