Thomas Fischer Thomas Fischer is Full Professor of Latin American History in the Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany, and director of the Center for Latin-american Studies (ZILAS). Between 2016 and 2020, he was president of the German Association of Latin-american Studies (ADLAF), and since 2020 member of the Executive Bureau of the ADLAF. He is member of the Editorial Council of the review “Iberoamericana. América Latina, España y Portugal”. Founder and Director of the binational master (with the University of Rosario, Bogotá) “Conflict, Memory and Peace”, he is currently directing research projects about : the new diplomatic history from a latin-american perspective ; global history of science (Europe-Latin America) ; history of violent conflicts, peace process and collective memory in Latin American.
